Serving Our Children
From a humble beginning of just two children, the Day Care now operates at full capacity, being licensed for 48 children by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Day Care services include caring for children ranging in age from infant to 12 years. Breakfast and lunch are provided each day. Preschool lessons, daily exercises, both indoor and outdoor play time, as well as constructive activities are included in these services.
EGL teachers strive to instill Christian moral values in an atmosphere of love and compassion, nurturing and care. The highlights of the year at EGL are the Christmas musical provided by the preschool children and the spring graduation and picnic event. During the school breaks, the school-aged children are involved in frequent field trips and activities that are suited to their ages.
Day Care hours of operation are from 6:00am to 6:00pm weekdays, excluding holidays. For rates and child care openings, please contact the church @ 405-677-8232, ext. 11.
Day Care Christmas
Day Care Christmas at EGL has become a wonderful tradition of celebrating the birth of Christ with music, costumes, presents, and even a special guest. Every year is a new experience. And every year is filled with excitement and joy!
Day Care Thanksgiving
Although all the food is not traditional, the costumes are. And the prayers and songs of thanksgiving are genuine, coming from little hearts gathered in for the celebration.
